Hey Rumy, did you hear about the new tennis training sessions?
Hey Rob, I did, but I am not sure what I will do in it. I do not know how tennis is played.
Oh what if I taught you the physics behind tennis and how it is played ??
Well then I will be thrilled to join it !!
Well, in tennis a court is divided into two equal sections. In a singles match, two players stand at each sectional area and hit the ball from one end to the other end.
The player who fails to deliver the ball to the opponent for any reason, loses the point.
In simple terms, there are three concepts of physics behind Tennis.By the way, this is a fun fact- Tennis balls have furry texture so that friction increases and prevents the ball from over speeding
Potential Energy- When the player swings his racket behind, potential energy is generated.
Kinetic Energy- When the player swings the racket forwardthe potential energy is converted to kinetic energy.
This kinetic energy is then transferredinto the tennis ball and some sound energy.
And that's how you play tennis !!
Thanks a ton Rob !!The funny thing is, I learnt physics and tennis both at the same time.It is pretty unique if you think about it
