- Oedipus arrives at Thebes just to find out that it is threatened by the Sphynx. The Sphynx will only die if Oedipus answers his riddle. The riddle was answered correctly and Thebes was saved.
- Jocasta's death
- R.I.P
- NO! I can't handle this either. I'm going to stab my eyes out till I'm blinded, and I shall leave this city forever!
- Oedipus was rewarded for saving Thebes by becoming the new king of Thebes, so he married Queen Jacosta, and had 4 kids from her. Polynices, Etecoles, Anitgone, and Ismene
- The downfall of Oedipus Rex
- Oedipus then realizes that he is the one that killed his dad (King Laius) and that he is married to his own mother. Everyone freaks out.
- A weird ending
- The queen kills herself because she can't handle the news she just received. Oedipus stabs his eyes out because he thinks he deserves to suffer, and decided to flee the city and live in the mountains with his daughters.
- Oedipus leaves his two sons in charge of Thebes, and takes his two daughters with him. Oedipus unfortunately gets struck by lightning and dies. He continues his life with Zeus
- Did dad just leave us for dead?
