John Oakhurst, Mother Shipton, the Dutchess, and Uncle Billy are expatriated from Poker Flat.
The outcasts run into John's friend, Thomas "the Innocent" Simson, and his to be bride Piney Woods. They decide to bunk together.
Me and Piney are going to marry, lets stay the night here!
Tom, we can't stay her or we'll die.
A snowstorm rolls in. While the gang are sleeping, Uncle Billy dupes them and rides away with their mules.
(drunken gibberish)
With the harsh weather, and the lack of proper transport, the group settles inside the cabin and makes the most of their situation.
Me and Piney are going to marry!
You don't have to keep saying that, Tom.
Mother Shipton dies, and the group decides that something must be done to aid there situation. They send Tom to Poker Flat for help while the rest of them try to survive against all odds.
Have to save Piney so we can marry!
Not Piney, we were going to marry!
Tom manages to gather a search party. When they return to the cabin, they find the frozen bodies of Piney Woods and the Dutchess. The search for Oakhurst yields his body underneath a tree, having shot himself.
