- "I shall claim this uninhabited land for the Queen and for Great Britain and I shall name it New South Wales."

- The indigenous Australians had been apart of this land for over 60,000 years, they were a diverse group of communities. They were very sharing and kind with eachother but they didn't like the invaders.

- Current Day
- The British kept trying to tell the Indigenous Australians that the land was theirs, but the Indigenous Australians told them it was not and they fought for it.
- "Move, you are nothing to us, this land is ours."
- The British captured many Indigenous Australians, and killed the ones that resisted or fought back.
- In 1967 an overwhelming amount of Australians voted for the Indigenous to have the right to vote and have their votes included.
- Now we live together and respect eachother, and try every day to make up for what our past generations did to them.
