- Light Yagami was just leaving school but finds a notebook, the death note that claims to have the ability to kill with just a name.
- Ryuk, Is there limit to how many names I can write?
- No there isn't a limit, but how many more do you need to write, you have by far written the most names in the death note
- The first man Light writes the name ends up dying which sparks lights interest and he begins to cleanse the world of evil by removing the criminals. He dedicates his time away from school to kill the criminals.
