- Welcome to the picking of the champions. The Ministry of Magic has allowed us to continue doing the Triwizard tournament. Now, the Goblet of Fire will pick the three champions representing their school for the Triwizard Tournament!
- (Cheering)
- Representing Beauxbatons... Fleur Delacour!
- (Cheering and clapping from everyone and especially from the Ravencalw table.)
- Representing Durmstrang... Victor Krum
- This is Halloween night. The Goblet of fire will be choosing the three champions to compete for their school. This tournament hasn't occurred for over 200 years. This is very special for wizards and a test of skill and courage.
- Representing Hogwarts...Cedric Diggory!
- (Cheering)
- "NO!", said Ron
- Originally before the drawing, Headmaster Dumbledore drew an age circle meaning that only people over the age of seventeen can enter their name. Now the goblet shall choose the first name to compete.
- And that is it. Good luck to our champions. What the... it appears the goblet has chosen a fourth champion. That is... Harry Potter.
- Oi! Harry, you're really lucky, and you get to miss out on final exams!
- Three schools will be competing in the tournament. One being Hogwarts School of Which craft and Wizardry and the other two being Beauxbatons academy and Durmstrang. Hogwarts is in the United Kingdom. Beauxbatons is located in France, and Durmstrang is located in Bulgaria. It is an international event.
- Hogwarts' students have to go attend the school for seven years. When you turn eleven you get your acceptance letter. That is why Dumbledore drew an age line, so the seventh years enter their names.
- The Triwizard tournament has only the amount of schools competing. Some mysterious figure bewitched the goblet and chose Harry Potter's name, The thing is Harry didn't even enter his name.
- Harry is only a fourth year and he new not many seventh year survived. He definitely new he wasn't going to make it out alive.
