- In 570, Muhammad was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. His Father died before he was born and his Mother took care of him until the age of six when she passed away. Muhammad´s grandfather took care of him until two years later (when he also died). So he ended up living with his Uncle.
- Preaching
- When Muhammad was 25 years old he met Khadija. She was one of the most beautiful women around and was the first person to really ever listen to him.
- The Hijrah and Return to Mecca
- In 610, Muhammad was meditating in a cave when he was visited by an angel. Who ordered him to recite. After the encounter with the angel, Muhammad started to build his religion.
- Death
- After Muhammad´s meeting with the angel, he began preaching to the people as he believed he was the messenger of God. (It wasnt god but it was Alllah) Then gained many followers/
- People in Mecca saw Muhammad as a threat so in 622, him and his follower took a journey called the Hijrah from Mecca to Medina. Later on Muhammad gained so many followers they were able to return to Mecca.
- Muhammad continued his journey until his death ten years later in 632.
