- Hello! My name is Alexandra and I’m from a small village in the Northern region of Greece in a city called Thessaly as seen on the map!
- On the map, you can see the Mount Olympus mountain range surrounding Ancient Thessaly on all sides except for the Northwest.
- It’s difficult to find fertile soil along the foot of mountains and because Ancient Thessaly is, for the most part, surrounded by mountains, there’s barely any.
- In addition to that, it rarely rains in Greece during the summer months so the land doesn’t become fertile easily. Because of this, the farmers of their village have a harder time planting and harvesting crops to feed the villagers.
- It’s summer right now and my village has been struggling with our food supply. Our villagers are starving and not very healthy because they lack nutrients which we usually get from the crops we harvest.
- I really wish it would rain.I wish it would rain. I wish it would rain.
- I can make it rain! From now on, I will make it rain everyday during the summer so that the soil will become fertile enough and my parents and their fellow farmers can grow and harvest enough crops to feed our village and they will be healthy again!
