- Why is oil important? Well lets do Research and learn why oil is a big deal by watching this video
- First let's talk about how oil is formed. Oil is formed by dead animals and plants remain sunk down the ocean floor and the weight of the water, heat from the earth's core, and chemical changescombined to transform oil and natural gas in our world today
- Oil companies must drill through the cap rock to get oil underneath. Then they pump the oil up to the surface. But sometimes this does not work so instead when that happens, petroleum engineers inject water or gases into the well, creating added pressure to force the oil out of rocks.
- But why is oil a big deal? Oil is a big deal because it allows us to create new technology and make new products like makeup it also allows us fuel for our cars to run off on.
- Oil is a resource a lot of countries use but the question you might ask is why is oil so popular and used a lot?
- It may have caused wars between other countries because the distribution between them was uneven. For an example Iraq invaded Kuwait because they wanted to gain control over their oil reserves
- The solution I created was we can make fuel efficient vehicles that are created to prevent the wasteful consumption of fuel
- A solution I created was we can invest into public transportation so less oil is used and so it can be another alternative to driving your own car. And not having to pay for gas every time. Wasting more and more gas
- Now oil may be a benefiting resource it also causes problems between other countries
- Can you guys name examples of how it causes problems and some solutions for it?
