  • Hmmm, I've been thinking where we came from.
  • Oh, I know how! It all started with mammy sister chromatids
  • Hey Sis haploids, what's on your mind?
  • Mammy was lonely and wants someone to accompany her.
  • Then the chromosomes started crossing-over in prophase I forming sister chromatids.
  • And that's when Mammy homologous chromosome began meiosis in interphase as they multiplied to form tetrads...
  • Then, what happen next?
  • Then the final part is Telophase I and Cytokinesis. This is where the cell forms its own cytoplasm and disconnects from preexisting cell to firm two daughter cells.
  • The next thing is metaphase I where maternal and paternal versions of the same chromosome align along the equator of the cell.
  • And then Anaphase I where each of the homologous chromosomes get pulled towards opposite poles of the cell as the spindle fibers retract.
  • So that how we were made?
  • MeiosisII?
  • No, I'm not done yet. After that there is still process called meiosis II.
  • Yes, meiosis II this is where the sister chromatids within the two daughter cells separate, forming four new haploid gametes.
  • So what is the difference between them ?
  • And the last is cytokinesis II, where the cytoplasm and cell divides producing 2 non-identical haploid daughter cells. As this is happening in both cells produced by meiosis I, the net product is 4 non-identical haploid daughter cells. These are fully formed gametes.
  • In Prophase II in meiosis II, the chromosomes condense, and a new set of spindle fibers forms. Then Metaphase II chromosomes line up in single file along the equator of the cell.
  • After that the Anaphase II sister chromatids are pulled to opposite poles of the equator. Then telophase is the same as telophase I.
  • Wow! Thanks you for explaining sister haploid. That's so cool!
  • That's the end of the process of how we were made.
  • No problem sis,
