- King Herod was hurting people who went to church, he killed James who was the brother of John the Baptist with his sword
- when the King looked at the Jewish people who were happy this happened the King decided to arrest Peter. As they put Peter behind bars they also put 4 guards to watch him and they thought to bring him out after the Passover ceremony ended
- On the same night as the night King Herod was going to bring out Peter after the Passover Peter who was kept in chains was visited by an Angel who woke him up saying “Get up quickly” and broke off the chains that kept him from escaping, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did exactly that.
- The end
- he went out and followed the Angel. Peter didn’t know if what was happening was a dream or not. When they passed the first and second guard they came up to the Iron Gate that opened up by itself and that’s when the angel left.
- “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”
