- Scrooge is a lonely cranky old man who has many reasons to dislike Christmas.His business partner passed on the day, and other memories of disappointment that haveto do with Christmas in the past. Scrooge has held onto the bad, and this has made him mean and a "COLD" person. "No warmth could warm, no wintry weather chill him", he is mean to all... even his family.

- Scrooge is visited by the 2nd ghost of Christmas Present, he is shown Cratchis's family and how happy they are for the little they have. Scrooge see Bob's sick son tiny Tim, and feels concern for Tim and wants him to live. The Ghost reminds Scrooge of things he has said about the less fortunate kids like Tim "...reduce the surplus population." this make scrooge thinks and regret what he had said. Scrooge is changing because he is caring about someone other then himself and he recognizes his mistake and is getting to be a "warmer" person.
- Scrooge meets the 1st ghost of Christmas and is shown his past (Christmas at the boarding house...)"There was a boy singing a Christmas carol at my door last nightI should like to have given him something." This was the beginning of Scrooge's change. Scrooge starts to change. (Scrooge wanting to fix this mistake he had made..)
- Scrooge is very happy and decided to make up for his mistakes. Everyone shows forgiveness and welcome him. Scrooge is now a "Warm," caring person. Things get better for everyone. One of the main theme of"A Christmas Carol,"is transformation and forgiveness. May we always try ro be good to all. "God Bless us, EVERYONE."
- Scrooge meets the ghost of Christmas Yet to come. He is shown that an old man has died and everyone is happy about it. Scrooge also Tim has died because of Scrooges'd selfishness because he has not fully changed. When Scrooge realizes that the grave is for him he says "I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all year. I will live in the past, the present, and the future." Scrooge has changed and is ready to show everyone and make up for mistakes.
