- LOUDLY but softly Dally talk Johnny and Ponyboy that Cherry was now their personal spy. Ponyboy then thinks in his head about Cherry and DIG. He thinks about all of Cherry's characteristics and how great of a person she is.
- I wonder how Johnny is doing.

- WIth fright and pride Johnny talks about turning himself in. In the near distance Ponyboy spots the Church on fire. Ponyboy dashes to the mess to see what is happening.
- Dally: Blast it Ponyboy

- Reluctantly but with disappointment Ponyboy runs into the flaming church. Ponyboy did not realize that Johnny had followed him. Sooner rather then later Ponyboy spots a group of kids and quickly tries to save them.
- I haven't seen Darry cry like this since our parents died

- With force and will Ponyboy yelled, 'ARE MY FRIENDS OK." Ponyboy then explained that they were Fiend. The doctor then tells Ponyboy that Johnny is not looking to well. Ponyboy then waits till they are at the hospital.
- The one with the brown hair isn't looking so good.
- Scared Ponyboy Stairs at Johnny and Dally entering hospital rooms. Ponyboy could hear Dally yell Blast it Ponyboy. Then someone enters the room that catches his eye.
- Sighing and sobbing Ponyboy sees his two brothers Darry and Sodapop walk into the hospital. Ponyboy ran up to both of them and gave them a big hug. When Ponyboy hugged Darry, Darry acted a way he has not done to Ponyboy in a long time.
