- King Louis XVI summoned a Meeting of the Estates General because France was in a finical crisis from being in wars and etc. When the three Estates were called each estate got one vote and sense the 1st and 2nd estates didn't want to pay taxes they would vote to make the third estate pay more taxes and the 3rd estate was sick of it.
- The March on Versailles
- The 3rd Estate declared to be the National Assembly as the 3rd estate went to the meeting hall they found it locked. They then found a tennis court and declared the tennis court oath. They pledged to never separate and to meet whenever the circumstances might require until we have established as sound and just constitution.

- On July 14, 1789 Persuasions heard that royal troops were going to occupy the capital. The Persuasions gathered outside a Prison called "Bastille". The general wouldn't open the gates to let them in and open fired on everyone there. The mob then broke through the gates killing the general. This event sparked more into the revolution.
- The Rise of Napoleon
- 6,000 woman marched to Versailles because they couldn't feed their families or even buy a loaf of bread while Marie Antionette was living a great life. The king promised the woman that he would go back to Pairs with his family and so he did.

- The convention met and destroyed the monarchy to build a republic. Robespierre was a chief architect of the reign of terror and believed that there needed to be terror to achieve the goals. The guillotine was a way to behead people and this is what was used to terrify the people.

- After the king died Napoleon declared himself Emperor, Napoleon was a great military general and throughout his rule he had many military success he also backed off from some of the revolutions social reforms.
