- Akane Groggily awoke to a letter left on her nightstand from her mother, “remember you have summer school this morning, I had to go to work early today but there is cereal for breakfast and clothes on the chair near your desk. Have a good day. Love, mom.” Akane got up and got dressed then went to the kitchen.

- She put her backpack on the chair, got the milk from the fridge and cereal out of the pantry then sat down to eat. she began having an eerie feeling leaving a shiver down her spine, she shook it off thinking it was just the "Home Alone Jitters". then finished getting ready to leave at around 7:30

- Akane and her mother share a car because she is too young to afford one for herself, even though they share her mother is at work and can’t use the car. Akane pulls her bike out of the garage, hangs her backpack on her bike handle, and starts a 20-minute bike ride to her school. She starts to feel that eerie feeling again while going through the shortcut to the back of the school from a street near her house.

- She arrived at the school and walked up to the side doors she was directed to in an email left by her school’s council. The poster near the door tells her to enter through these doors by leaning against the metal bar and then pulling outward, the school was experiencing an extended amount of break-ins so she assumed the process to open the door was almost child-proofed like a prescribed medicine bottle.
- As she walked down the old hallway that had been blocked off most of the school year for construction the eerie feeling she felt before grew stronger, and it almost felt like she was being followed. Yet every time she turned around the long empty hallway was devoid of people.
- She entered classroom 332 to a tall pale skinned boy sitting back in a classroom chair, he had long hair pulled back in a slick bun and had an “emo” clothing style. The boy introduced himself as ace, then continued his argument with a curly hair boy which Akane could already tell had a temper shorter than his height. “Maybe you should lighten up, you are looking a bit pale it ruins my whole mood”, ace replied, “says the one whose name is grey, I think my attitude fits quite perfectly with that” now Akane knows here two classmates, Grey and Ace.
