As they went to sleep, the husband began to have a manic episode. He woke up and he just felt so depressed but also angry. After he had come to the realization of his actions, the husband grew terribly depressed... and crazy. He'd lie awake at night with his wife's corpse by his side. He would stare at her beautiful face, that the bruises on her neck he made by choking her to death. He couldn't believe he did it with his own bare hands. Every night as he'd cry, the same crow would fly to the window at the same time he killed his wife. As time went on, he believed the crow was his wife, taunting him. He grew mad and would try to kill it, but every attempt failed. Until he couldn't take it anymore, and went to the river behind their house. He stared at it with emotionless eyes. He knew it was time to end it all as he made contact with the river's icy waters.
