- 1. I'm going to post this on instagram on my fitness page to show everyone how healthy I am eating, and to get lots of likes.

- 2. there is an association between eating disorders and fitspiration pages on social media. People who engage in social media posts about fitspiration are more prone to have body dissatisfaction, which can lead to eating disorders.
- 3. My friend Heather will elaborate further on the different kinds of eating disorders, especially orthorexia.
- “What causes it?
- 1.Eating healthy is very important to your body, but only to an extent. Orthorexia is a fixation on healthy eating If you put your whole focus on it, it can lead you to unhealthy eating behaviors
- Anything from family influence, social media, sports, and just growing up in general. It can be a very bad thing to get into
- 1.. I did't know this, what other kind of eating disorders are there?
- 2. My friend Peter can explain some of the different types of eating disorders that are out there.
- There are a few different types of eating disorders, but Anorexia, Bulimia, and now Orthorexia, are the most prevalent today.
- People with bulimia also have an obsessive desire to lose weight, and they also have a distorted image of themselves.
- What other factors can influence eating disorders?
- Orthorexia is little different from the other two, people with it often obsess about the “Quality and purity” of their food rather than the quantities.
- People with anorexia try to make themselves skinnier or weigh as little as possible by starving themselves or exercising too much.
