- Hello Everyone today we will be talking about Day of The Dead.
- Day of The Dead is celebrated October 31st-November 2nd. We celebrate this holiday to remember our loved ones who died. We gather family members and friends and celebrate with a party and candy and treats.
- Day of The Dead is also called Dia de Los Muertos and is celebrated in Mexico and those who are Mexican. We gather together to remember our loved ones.
- Family's and Friends gather up together at cemeteries where they have altars and we go to church. We celebrate by partying and praying
- We celebrate Day of The Dead for three days. October 31st, kids set up the altars and pray to the spirits which that day in America is also Halloween. On November 1st, The spirits come back and talk again.
- On the last day, families go and clean the cemeteries and have one last party. They dress up, have candy and talk to the dead ones.
- Popular symbols for Day of The Dead is a skeleton, we can do a lot of things dedicating Day of The Dead even if your not in Mexico like drawing skeletons, wearing skeleton costumes, and even eating skeleton cookies.
