- I knew I couldn't do this....
- I have a family of Seven. We lived in a Condo in San Jose. Soccer wasn't really known in my family, but until an invite was given to us to watch my cousin play.

- How do you expect to get better if you stay on this team JESSICA?
- We watched my cousin play, and I kind of got jealous cause he was making friends while I was a loner. So, there I asked my mom if I could play soccer. She was hesitant about it, but she came through and let me give it a shot. (pun intended)

- It was my first game. It was early in the morning, which I wasn't very happy about about, but oh well got to do what you got to do. We were doing good in the beginning, not letting anyone score, but second half came and they scored. There I realized I had anger issues. It was a good game overall since I stayed in for the entire time.

- I need to do better. I can't be another disappointment. There's a lot of people here I need to do make it into the program

- *2 years later playing in Recreational* I got a talk with my mom about how I needed to switch out to competitive soccer. I tried out with my coaches daughter with her team, but I had a panic attack during that and couldn't do it. So when she gave me that talk about changing I got scared, but knew I had to tryout for another team, so I made my mom call this certain league where I knew people.
- It was just one week and I started to tryout for the team. It was very scary since I don't do change. I practiced for a week and made the team. I got number 10. The games were more difficult since the girls had more experience and knew more tricks, but I did good and became captain for the 4 years.

- I was picked to be tryout for this program out of all the girls soccer team in that league. I went to two of their sessions, but missed one. I was really scared and started having a panic attack and I started crying, but I pushed through it.
