- I was overjoyed when I learned I was going to be a big sister. I was so excited to play with her and dress her up like a doll. It didn't really hit me that she was too young to do all of that.
- Jealousy
- Just wait for your sister.
- They're taking so long.
- I then realized she was so needy. My parents spent all their free time with her. I was confused. My parents were both working full time jobs, and as soon as she was old enough, we both got dropped off at our grandparents' apartment. They gave her whatever she wanted without restrictions. It's like I wasn't there.
- Realization

- I just feel ignored now that Sabrina's here.
- Everywhere she went, people would look at her and immediately give her all their attention. I couldn't do normal things like run fast ahead of my parents, or push her stroller. I didn't have many friends at the time, so I began to feel lonelier and lonelier.

- My parents explained to me that they don't love me any less than they did before she was born. They said that she just needs more attention than me. She can't do basic actions without their help, so that's why they are always with her. Then I understood.
- We would never replace you. Your sister just needs more attention.
- She was an adorable little baby and I took out my inability to understand math and everyone ignoring me out on her. It wasn't fair, especially how she never got to meet my grandfather. She is very sweet and loving and the best little sister I could ask for.
