- During the stamp act issued in response to the French and Indian War, the Americans had to pay more for their goods. They were very upset about this and burnt down the governor's house in protest. Shortly afterwards the stamp act was repealed but not without punishment from the English.
- Boston Massacare
- As a way to keep the Americans in line, the English decided to take control of Boston, placing 100s of Redcoats in the city that they owned. This angered the Americans and was part of more acts called the town shed acts that fulled Americans to hate the English.
- Boston Tea party
- When the Boston soldiers were sent to Boston, they brought the Townshend acts with them. These acts included Taxing lots of more things and removing most of the rights they got as English citizens. Lastly, they also removed the right for Americans to get trials by their own peers.
- Intolerable/cororsive acts
- Feed us you dogs!
- During the rising tensions of the Townshend acts a few boys throw snowballs at some redcoats and they react by shooting the colonists. This turns into a riot that becomes aptly named The Boston Massacre.
- Fire Fire!

- Three years later a British shipment of tea arrives and the English are imposing taxes on tea to help their friends the East India tea company. The colonists are upset about this and a group of them go down to the ship at night and throw the tea off the ship damaging 1.2 million dollars of tea.

- Down with the British!
- Take that!
- As punishment for the Boston tea party, the English government creates the couorsive acts. The acts do a lot of things including isolating Boston and allowing soldiers to randomly select houses to stay in. These will become known as the intolerable acts.
