  • Good day, everyone! Today we are going to explain four different theories about the origin of the universe and solar system.
  • The first one we are going to talk about is a theory proposed by Georges Lemaître called The Big Bang. It is stated here that the universe began with a small singularity and that 13.8 billion years ago an explosion occurred that caused the release of all the universe's matter and then eventually expanded. It also states that the evolution of the universe is divided into two major stages, namely the Radiation Era and the Matter Era.
  • The second one is the Steady State Theory by James Jeans. It says here that the universe has always been there and is continuously expanding while maintaining a constant average density while matter is being created nonstop to form new stars and galaxies.
  • Following that is Emanuel Swedenborg's Solar Nebula Theory. According to this theory, an interstellar cloud is composed of dust and gas that begins to form areas of high concentration before becoming a star when it becomes extremely hot. As the proto-star grows in size, it forms a disk and, due to the super high temperature, globules colliding with each other all stick together, a process known as accretion, which is the beginning of the formation of planets.
  • The final theory is called The Divine Creation, and it is based on the Bible, which states that God is the one who created and designed the entire universe. It is written here that God created everything in seven days.
  • That's all there is to it! I hope you all learned something or remembered at least one theory about the origins of the universe and solar system.
