- This is happening to everyone in acreative field…Voice actors, writers, artists, and many more.Carla Ortiz led a group of artists to sue an AI company, calling it a parasitic app which was using their work for free. AI companies have been trying to dismiss suchlawsuits against them.
- On the other hand, Jah Reynolds, an artist who uses AI to create his art, says that AI is a powerful tool that can expand the creative field as a whole because it can make the creative process easier so long as it’s a tool being used by the master, not the tool becoming the master.
- There are people that are currently developing ways to keep AI from copying art by cloaking the art style, thereby keeping generative AI from replicating the art. This method was created by the creators of Glaze. Congress has also been busy mulling over pending lawsuits and how they should regulate AI.
- What do other people say about it?
- Law professor Mark Lemley says that AI is taught in the same way humans are taught and therefore are given the same rights as people.
