- At the farm there aren't many people nearby so Niki cant have much social interaction, it is very peaceful however it can sometimes get lonely. Many of the workers have left to find better work or follow a particular career path.
- Here in the city there are so many people to meet and there is so much to do! Look at my new friends!
- In the rural area transport is very limited, so it may be tiring and difficult to get to further places. Stores are also not usually situated closely as there is dispersed settlement pattern (less people and more space)
- This is the bus it take to school, it is much easier than walking!
- With environmental disasters such as drought, the farm cannot grow their crops properly therefore causing a lack of food.

- In the the city there are many more ways to communicate for example you could talk to people in person or through other platform online, with these technological developments social interaction is easier. Niki is with her friends and on a phone call with another. There is also more economic freedom with a variety of services and activities available.
- In the city there is public transport and many other ways to get around for example, buses, taxis and trains. Niki can use the public transport rather than working. The quality of the roads are also better making transport more efficient.
- There are more opportunities in the city, this allows for a variety of activities and services to exist. Niki can now play sports against other teams and play matches at other schools because it is usually safer in the urban area.
