- Hi ( in an angry tone)
- And terrible if I might add
- and why is that? The sun was shining wasn't it?
- Anyways I am not going back to that school. I am going to send her a nasty email.
- My science teacher gave me a 49% on our exam and now i've failed the course. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
- Come back here right now, we need to discuss this as school is important Jay.
- I don't want to talk about it right now Mom! You're not going to help what happened!!
- What do you want Mom?
- Knock! Knock!
- I tried my hardest on that test, I just don't understand why I got a mark like that.
- Jay, you're a smart kid and it isn't the greatest Idea to send a nasty email to someone who didn't intentionally give you that mark.
- You know what, you're right. Sending an email will only make the situation worse. I will speak with her on Monday to get this straightened out.
- I suggest you take the night to re-evaluate and then make a decision. Retaliating when you are emotional never has a good outcome. I am sure if you talk with your teacher on Monday you can both figure out what is fair to do.
- You are doing the right thing and I am sure that she will be understanding if you are kind and honest.
