- He went inside his car and drove off. Minutes later, he turned on the radio.

- Active voice- Jake turned on the radio.
- He arrived at his work place, and went inside. He noticed the sign 'HIRING'
- I must greet my friends today.
- HIRING
- Passive voice- A sign was placed in front of the building by the Manager.
- Did you hear about it?
- Yeah, the company will hire new workers.
- Passive voice- A door will be opened by Jake's officemate.
- What do you think will happen to us?
- Passive voice- An elevator was used by Jake and his friend.
- I don't know. New workers will be hired by the company, eventually because of the lack of people.
- Jake, I came here to inform you that you have been promoted to a higher rank in the company!!
- Thank you Mrs. Smith for trusting me. My wife will be pleased with this news!!
- Active voice- Jake turned off his computer.
