- At a young age George Orwell came into terms with discrimination within social class systems. This can explain his hardcore use of allegory. With his writing style he made it possible to deliver this message to his readers

- Orwell incorporated the use of satire after witnessing the lives of people who work incredibly hard vs those that don't and the events that took place in Burma with British colonization. It is a common Genre used by him which is why he chose to incorporate it into animal farm.
- Orwell lived through vey difficult times in history. After experiencing WWII, he used a fable to depict leaders Joseph Stalin and Leon Trotsky.
