- Muhammed and his followers went on a journey and it was called the hijrah. The year of the hijrah was the first year of the Muslim calendar.

- Muhammed created a Muslim community in Madinah, since more Arabs converted to Islam. They helped each other and they respected one god.
- 630 C.E. - Broken Truce

- Makkans and Muslims had tension and fights broke out. The Muslims attacked a caravan on its way to Makkah. Years later, Makkans tried to siege Madinah, but failed.
- 632 C.E. - Muhammed's Death
- Remember to be faithful to your community
- While there was fighting, Muhammed convinced other tribes to join the Muslims. When Islam spread across Arabia, Makkans and Muslims made a truce.

- In 630, Muhammed's army marched to Makkah and the leader of the city surrendered. Muhammed's followers destroyed statues at the Ka'ba. Muhammed forgave his enemies and the war ended, later.
- Muhammed led a pilgrimage to his birth town and reminded everyone to treat each other well. After, he died.
