- We, the Atheneans, are sure that they will come back; so, we will create and leader the Delian League; its purpose is to be prepared and organized to fight against them again.
- Pericles
- Year 478 B.C.E., two years after defeating Persia for the second time.
- OK, let´s try it out.
- Sparta
- As the Persians did not come again, Athens will have a golden age, a commerce empire, and we will be beneficiated with the resources of the Delian League!
- Year 431 B.C.E., Athens wants all the benefits...
- So, take all that!
- All tributte money and navy must be here!
- Really? OK.
- Is unacceptable of what you have been doing with the Delian League for all this time. Allies and Spartans, attack Athens!
- Ahhhh!
- Year 404 B.C.E. in Athens, the Atheneans got surrounded after an effective strategy, taking Athens´silver mines.
- Allies and Atheneans, attack Sparta!
- Oh no! I think the Gods want that Sparta wins because the plague did not affect them.
- King Pericles died and 1/3 of our population has died because of a plague. Let´s see if in 10 or less years some of us is bored of fighting.
- Year 430 B.C.E., a plague enters to Athens and Pericles died.
- Year 421 B.C.E., the city - states made a peace treaty for 50 years, but Athens was benefiting itself again, so the war continued in 415 B.C.E.
- But, if we agreed to be in peace for 50 years and it only lasted 6 years. Why did you do that again? Attack them again!
- Claccc!
- Continue fighting!

- We won! Sparta won!
- That´s it for us. We are too weak and we got surrounded.
- Sorry my kings for interrupting, but Philip II of Macedonia is invading Sparta.
