- Toussaint L'ouverture was a prominent leader in the Haitian Revolt who was previously a slave and steward of the livestock on the estate of his former master
- Hooray!!
- He was such a huge influence on that Blacks that he obtained the name "Black Napoleon" and encouraged them to fight for equality and freedom
- Slaves began to fight against the French with their both military and political forces to gain freedom and equality in their lives
- Toussanit L"ouverture was able to defeat and got control over the island to make it a better place for the ones living there
- After going to France, Toussaint L'ouverture was betrayed and killed by Napoleon Bonaparte
