- Gatsby gets rid of his servants so he and Daisy can be together without the worry of gossip

- They decide to go to the city and Daisy rides with Gatsby in Toms car while Tom, Nick, and Jordan ride in Gatsby's car

- Gatsby tells Tom that Daisy never loved him and Daisy gets upset
- Nick thinks Gatsby is going somewhere because his house is a mess, when n realty he sent all the servants away for Daisy
