In 1867, Buffalo Bill became a buffalo hunter for construction workers that built train rails, which gave him the name Buffalo Bill. He killed 4,280 buffaloes in a year and a half. (51 or so years old)
He joined the army again in 1868, which got him a congressional medal of honor in 1872… which was stripped... then reinstated. (56 or so years old)
He became a National Folk Hero thanks to a novel “Buffalo Bill.” Then he traveled to Chicago late 1872 and made his debut of, “The Scouts of the Prairie.” (57 years old)
In 1883, he got his own show called, “Buffalo Bill’s Wild West,” it was like a circus. He toured for three decades in America and then in Europe. (67 years old)
He returned to the Midwest and settled in the Kansas Territory.
He died January 10, 1917. Through all of his adventures he also had 5 kids that were not included in this comic: Arta Cody (1866), Kit Carson Cody (1870), Orra Maude Cody (1872), Irma Louisa Cody Garlow (1883), and finally their adopted son; Ranger Bill Miller (1878).
