- Step Two: Choose the Location!
- The location you choose should be the one that helps you reach your target audience so that the protest is as effective as possible.
- So we should plan our protest to take place in the school cafeteria.
- Pick a time to stage the protest. Protest at a time when you'll be able to gather the largest crowd and have the greatest impact on your audience.
- During lunch would be the perfect time to stage our protest. All the kids will be there.
- Step Three: When to Protest!
- Check with your city officials about whether you need to get a permit to protest in the location of your choosing.
- We can get those permits at City Hall or the local court house.
- Step Four: Obtain Permits
- Plan what you want to say and in what order. Be clear and precise.
- We can do that in the school media center.
- Step Five: Make an Agenda
- Take this important step to make sure your protest gets as much attention as possible.
- We can post information about our protest on social media.
- Step Six: Publize the Proest
- Step Seven: Bring Protest Supplies
- Make posters, flyers, visual aids, or pamphlets to help spread your message and communicate your concerns to others.
- Let's make flyers. We can get all our materials at Wal-Mart!
