- Oh No! I accidentally killed his wife. I didn't mean to
- We are introduced to characters Lennie and George who are about to move to a new farm for work.
- Falling Action
- George and Lennie meet everyone on the farm, including Curley and his wife who is a "Tramp"
- Resolution
- I was afraid for my life and I had to shoot him.
- While George and the other guys are gone Lennie accidentally kills Curley's wife because he didn't want to get in trouble.
- Theme
- The theme of this story is human existence and what people will due for people that thy love and what they will sacrifice for the greater good.
- George and Lennie meet at a secret place that they agreed on when they first started working on the farm. George shoots and kills Lennie for his own good.
- The guys discover Curley's wife and begin a hunt for Lennie but George has already killed him. George tells them he had to wrestle the gun out of his hand but one of the guys(slim) knows the truth
