  • In the 1980's CAST began researching how students with exceptionalities could use technology to better learn the curriculum.
  • There are so many, a few I know are; that it removes barriers to learning and gives ALL students equal opportunities to learn!
  • They came to the realization the methods they were researching not only helped students with exceptionalities but helped ALL students!

  • It also builds on every students strengths and needs. It supports a more diverse student population.
  • It provides options for Executive functions.
  • Executive functions are things like, memory, focus, emotion, action, effort and activation.
  • My teacher lets me use an Ipad in class!
  • Me too! She lets our whole class use Ipads!
