"How was your playdate sweetie?", asked Suzy's father as Suzy entered her house. "I had a blast daddy", said Suzy. Earlier in the day, Suzy went on a playdate to the park with her friends Joe and Lily.
Suzy sat down his her father and began to talk about all the things she and her friends did while at the park. "We did so many fun things daddy", Suzy said. "Lily, Joe, and I wanted to play in the sandbox, but a big tree branch was blocking it", said Suzy angrily.
"We all wanted to play in the sandbox, but we were not sure how with a big tree branch in the way", said Suzy in frustration. "So, we decided to figure out how to get the tree branch out of the sand box."
"Lily suggested one of us pick up the tree branch from one side, so Joe tried it", said Suzy to her father. "It didn't work. Joe could not move the tree branch by himself because it was too heavy", said Suzy sadly. Suzy paused to remember the idea she had. "I came up with a great idea to move the branch. Do you wanna know?", she asked to her dad. "Of course!", exclaimed Dad.
"My idea was to have all of us pick up the branch together, and pull it out of the box", said Suzy. "They liked my idea Dad, so we tried it, and guess what Dad?!", Suzy said excitedly. "What Suzy?!", exclaimed Dad excitedly. Suzy said with an excited voice, "My idea work!" "We were able to play in the sand box now since we worked together to pull the tree branch out", said Suzy.
"That's wonderful to hear sweetie. I am glad to you all worked together to accomplish your goal", said Dad. "Thanks Dad!", exclaimed Suzy excitedly. "We also played on the swings while at the park. We played on the swings after we played in the sandbox for a while", said Suzy. "Oh, and how was that?", asked Dad.
"Lily wanted me to help her swing on the swings, but I wasn't to sure how I was going to do that", Suzy sighed. "Then I thought, if I want something to go, maybe I could pull the swing like I did with the tree branch, so I did", said Suzy. "It work! When I pulled on the swing then let go, it moved. I kept pushing and pulling on Lily's swing until we decided to leave", said Suzy excitedly.
"Well, I am glad you had fun at park with your friend. I am glad you used your smart thinking skills to solve your problems", said Dad. "Thank you Daddy! Could you make me something to eat?", asked Suzy. "Sure sweetie. Let's going into the kitchen", stated Dad. Suzy left with her Dad to go to the kitchen feeling extatic and happy that she and her friends had fun on their playdate.
