- Thank goodness Shovon can't see my chaos!
- During the pandemic, Patricia is working remotely from home. She connects with her files and coworkers using Microsoft Teams. She does home chores in between work activities.
- 4. Patricia's Boss at Work
- Patricia is working from her messy bedroom. Her child is at home with her, her cat often walks across her desk while she is working, and laundry is piled around her room. She has a work-issued laptop.
- 5. Shovon's Work Space

- Patricia is able to change her background during Teams meetings to hide the mess all around her.

- Patricia's boss Shovon is working in person at the ORNL campus. He walks from the parking garage to his office in a large research building.
- Oak Ridge National Laboratory
- I'm glad I can still meet with Patricia today! We need to get started on this project.
- Shovon meets with Patrica using Microsoft Teams from his private office on campus. He has a large desk, desktop computer, and a full-sized keyboard and mouse.
- Shovon sees only Patrica's face and the virtual background she has chosen. Patricia sees Shovon's office at the lab. They are able to meet in this virtual space from very different work environments.
