- All is well in Hrothgar's kingdom. The warriors are drinking, recieving gifts, and listening to each others battle stories.
- these stupid warriors are always celebrating. ill show them a celebration!
- Grendel sneaks into the castle, killing many of Hrothgar's men while they were sleeping and unarmed.
- Finally peace and quiet!
- Let us go defeat the monster Grendel! this will add to my victories... who cares about saving the people.
- i am the Great Beowulf! i am here to defeat Grendel and add him to my LONG list of victories....OH and save your people... of course!
- Who are you to come into Lord Hrothgar's Kingdom without permission?
- Excuse me Beowulf, we have a problem!!!!
- with your permission, I have come to help you get rid of the horrid monster, Grendel.
- To show my strength, i will fight you with no weapons, but my arms!! (because I'm the best... duh)

- Not on my watch (even though i probably don't know what this phrase even means)
- You killed my son!! i shall have vengeance!
- Were so glad you're back, but we have some awful news... our king has died and we need you to take the throne and lead us!
- After becoming King and ruling for many years, the threat of a dragon arises and he agrees to go fight even though his age may hinder him. (aka the hero never loistens and always dies doing what he was told not too)
- I have come to slay you, Dragon!!
- not before i mortally injure you *insert evil dragon laugh here*
- Our great King Beowulf, you will be missed.
