- The love of basketball stems from one man
- Kobe Bryant, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, is the reason why I am in love with the game of basketball today.
- Everything else was a blur in my vision, except my basketball
- Nothing else mattered. I knew that if I wanted to be great, it took focus. It's just me and the basketball
- I would go to the ends of the Earth to become great, like Kobe
- Kobe taught me the Mamba Mentality, the strive to be better than you were yesterday, to learn from every aspect of life.
- It started to rub off on me
- I played day in and day out. I started to see huge progress. I was able to compete with people who have been playing their whole life
- I incorporated his patented fade away into my game. I started to feel like the Mamba himself.
- A Lasting Legacy
- Now that Kobe has been gone for over a year now, his legacy is being lived through those who are close to him in the NBA. I was never able to meet him, but I will do my best to make sure he is never forgotten
