- Hi, this is Tom the Ice Cube and his best friend Henry the Ice cube. They will be joining us on our journey about the three states of matter, including, solid, liquid, and gas
- Tom: So, Henry are you going with me to the pool party that my friend is having?
- Well, we should get going because I know we're going to have a great time there.
- Yes, I am. It's going to be awesome and other people are going to be there.
- Tom and Henry: Yes, we're here!!! Let's go have some fun.
- It's so hot.
- You guys melted into a liquid due the outrageous amount of heat. We can also call the radiation. Radiation is a heat transfer through electromagnetic waves. Now that you're a liquid your particles move around each other because they are now able to spread out. They also speed up.

- OMG!! What happened to us?
- I'm confused as much as you are
- So, your friend the ice cube, which then melted into a liquid, evaporated into a gas. Evaporation is the process when a liquid is turned into a gas. Now that your friend is a gas his particles are now in a random arrangementthat are now moving fast in all different directions due to the particles now having space to move around.
