- Nelson Rolihlahla Medela was born on July 18th, 1918,in the South African village ofMvezo. When he was under 7 ages his name is "buti"
- He lived with his father,mother and his older's sister.
- When he grow up, his families moved to another village called Qunu because of political .
- They lived in three small houses.He was very happy in the new small village and he helped to care family's animals and loved to play with other children .
- At the age of seven,his mother started sent to the school.He was wearing trousers that is given by his father.
- At school, his teacher give her children European names and He got a name called Nelson. He didn't like that name at first but he was very happy at school.
