- When I was 10 years old, I got my first dog as a gift from my dad. She was a small husky puppy who loved to bite me. But I was okay with it, because she was my first dog and I loved her very much. However, a bit later, when I was still 10 years old, we agreed to give her away for a little while for other reasons. A family friend said she knew a person who could take care of her for a while. After 5 years, I haven't seen her.
- When the cultural changes were beginning to start, some of Marji's friends moved to the United States. This greatly impacted Marji and made her very sad. When middle school ended, a pair of my friends moved to Texas. This made me very sad that I was going to lose them. I don't really talk to them anymore.
- When Marji's mom's friends came to stay with her for a week, she came in with two sons as well. Marji immediately stepped up to take on an older sister-like role to them. Even though they got on her nerves some times, she ultimately cares for them. I have meany nieces and nephews. Almost all of them are younger than me. One of them is almost three years old and even though he'll sometimes get at me because we both like the same color, I still love playing and spending time with him.
