The Boston Massacre March 5, 1770
The Boston Massacre occurred on May 5, 1770 in Boston. A group of colonists were harassing British troops. Although their commanding officer told them not to fire, one soldier misheard him, and fired into the crowd. This lead to the other British troops to fire into the crowd of colonists. Five people were killed in the "massacre".
