Storyboard-Text
- Approaching the Innermost Cave:Using the string provided by the beautiful princess Ariadne, he prepares to entre the Maze.
- I'm ready to slay the monster!
- The Ordeal:Theseus battles (and defeats) the Minotaur.
- Take that you evil monster!
- The Reward:Theseus and Ariadne, along with the Athenians he saved, sailed back towards Greece.
- You're my hero, Theseus! You did it!
- The Road Back:After slaying the monster, Theseus became rather arrogant. In fact, he left the beautiful princess stranded on an island on the way home to Greece.
- Wait!!!! Don't leave me here!
- The Resurrection:In Theseus' story, this step is not exactly the same as in other Heroes' Journeys. Since Theseus was so busy thinking about his accomplishment, he forgot to change the sail. Seeing this, his father thought he had died and so he killed himself;
- Return with the Elixir:Theseus didn't return the Greece without an elixir or trophy, but rather a newfound fame. He was also now the King of Greece, even if the cost was his father's life.
