- Lord, my brother keeps sinning against me. How many times do I have to forgive him?
- The kingdom of heaven is like this,. A King who checked on his servants accounts, when one of them owed him a million .
- A servant owed the King a million dollars but the servant did not have enough money to pay for his debt, so the King ordered him to be sold as a slave and all he had to pay his debt. The servant begged and the king felt sorry for him, so he let him go.
- Be patient with me and I will pay you everything!
- I'll let you go.
- The man then went out and met one of his fellow servants who only owed a few dollars. He grabbed him and started choking him.
- When the fellow servant wasn't able to pay, the unforgiving servant sent him to prison until his debt was paid. His actions were seen and reported to the king.
- YOU ARE GOING TO JAIL UNTIL YOU PAY YOUR DEBT!
- When the servants saw what happened, they told the king. The King was very angry and sent the servant to jail until he has paid his debt.
- I forgave you the whole amount you owed me because you asked me to. You should have had mercy on the servant just as I did
- And that's how my Father in heaven will treat every one of you unless you forgive your brother from the heart.
