I am unsure about my financial aid package and I need to buy things for my home. I don't want to run out of money.
That's right! I can use the International Student Information Hub (ISIH) to get some help!

Kara just moved to Gainesville from England to get her PhD. She has a home, a car and a bank account but she wants to see how much money she will get from finacial aid before she goes shopping.
I contacted an International Student assistant and learned that I will be getting $1,000 in biweekly payments!
Kara remembers that her PhD advisor mentioned that UF recently created an Intenational Student Information Hub (ISIH) that helps international students get used to living in Gainesville.
Now that I know what funding I have, I can set a budget and shop in peace.
Kara used the ISIH to learn how finacial aid packages worked and to contact a representative from the International Student Center.
I was able to get everything I needed to start my first semester in UF's Computer Science Ph.D, program.
The ISIH site had several breakdowns about how finacial aid disbursments worked and provided access to a dedicated staff of advocates who were committed to helping international students settle into Gainesville. Kara got the information she needed.
Kara was able to set a budget and shop in peace. The time she spent shopping also helped her get used to the Gainesville area.
Since the ISIH helped Kara get access to resources and information that she needed, she can now start the semester with plenty of much-needed supplies.
