- There was no joy as he married her in private, ashamed of the way she looked.
- The old maiden noticed her husband was sad and asked how she could fix things; he said she couldnt and that she is ugly.
- She asked him if he would rather have her be loyal or pretty. He let her decide and she chose to be both. They lived happily ever after.
