- We'll catch up about our holidays later. Wonder what year 8 will be like...
- Time to go! School has started children.
- Let's go inside Francais.
- Hey, I bet YOU were the one spread that rumour! I'm certain that it was YOUR shadow that I saw, skulking around the school. Now EVERYONE thinks that I was the one who stuck pink gum under all the tables.
- EXCUSE ME???
- Don't play dumb with me! Look down at your own shadow.
- UGH, FINE!
- It's Francais, Tamina and their friends' first day of year 8 at StarFall High School. Ananya (narrator), is standing to the side, watching everyone arrive at the school.
- Hmm, alright then.
- Hey, you've got to stop arguing, I think I know who the culprit is. I'll call her.
- After the first two classes, it's time for a break. As the students file out to their lockers, Francais blames Tamina for starting a rumour. Ananya stands to the side, shocked.
- Hey, guys this is my first time coming to school. I've always been home-schooled until now, which is why I don't know much about how other people my age woud feel. I'm sorry.
- This is Ramina, Tamina's twin.
- Francais insists that Tamina was the one who spread the rumour about her. Tamina looks down at her shadow at Francais' request.
- It's alright. Your situation is understandable.
- Thanks so much! I'm so glad you could forgive me!
- Ananya walks up to Francais and Tamina, insisting that she knows the real culprit who spread the rumour.
- Ramina is revealed to be the person spreading the rumour.
- Francais and Tamina both forgive Ramina. Ananya looks on, glad that she could fix the situation.
