- “Good morning, Canada! Today we are posted outside of the Bank of Canada where they are reporting the highest inflation rates seen in 40 years with a 7.7% rise in the last month.”

- “Well with the rise in prices for groceries and gas, I'm having to get a second job just to be able to keep the roof over my family's head and meals on the table. It's insane how much prices have increased in the last couple of months.
- “How has the rise in inflation affected your day-to-day life?”
- “Thank you for your time.”

- “And when we come back from this short break, we will be joined by a bank executive to get a better understanding of what's going on with inflation”

- “Thank you, inflation is at an all-time high and it is only set to go higher. Prices are getting so high; Canadians are struggling to afford necessities.”
