- Did you know that California black worms live in fresh, shallow water in something called sediment?
- Sediments are muddy areas with small pieces of rock, leaves, dead animals, dead plants or any piece of nature that is broken down by weathering and erosion.
- Black worms will eat mostly algae and bacteria, but they will also eat dead leaves and pieces of wood.
- Welcome Students to the Black Worms Habitat Experiment!
- What habitat material or materials did the black worms prefer?
- the leaves? the sand? the rocks?the plain water?
